L’opera che creo è fatta di forme libere. Il materiale che uso è marmo bianco
che fa risaltare la fluidità della forma in modo distinto. Il gioco di luci e ombre
dà all’opera una maggiore potenza e chiarezza.
The work I do consists of free forms. The material I use is white marble which displays
the fluidity of form most distinctly. The play of light and shadow gives the work a greater
dramatic power and clarity.
Le obliquità affiorano come fossero il risultato di un avvicinamento indiretto al
soggetto.
L’opera offre una scelta di diverse percezioni di sé a seconda dello spettatore.
The obliqueness comes as the result of the indirect approach to the subject. The work
gives the chance of varied perceptions of it by the different viewers.
Essere contemporanei significa vivere il presente.
Being contemporary means living in the present.
Gli artisti che mi hanno ispirato sono diversi a seconda dei soggetti che scelgo
sui quali lavorare. Artisti che ho ammirato e che posso collegare con questo ciclo
delle mie opere, da Michelangelo attraverso Jackson Pollock fino ad Anselm
Kiefer.
The artists that I find inspiring are as diverse as are the subjects I choose to work on.
Artists I have admired that I can connect with this cycle of my works range from
Michelangelo through Jackson Pollock to Anselm Kiefer.
